I hold out a lot of hope for BSX Insight– just as I hold out hope for a lot of other products that I think can really make a difference for endurance athletes.  With that said, I’ve yet to really discover exactly how the BSX Insight will shape my training and if it lives up to my hopes.  I’m hoping that it gives me a reliable and objective estimate of my current lactate threshold.  I’m hoping that I can also use the muscle oxygenation data to further refine how I race and train.  I’m hoping it keeps me ahead of a lot of much younger guys who would like nothing more than to beat this old guy in races.  If consistent use of the BSX Insight can grant even one of these three wishes, I’m sold and the small price of the BSX Insight was worth the investment ten times over.  First, however, I have to shake this darn chest cold and put my new BSX Insight through its paces.
