This message is a quick head’s up about some changes that will be happening over the next few days here at The Athletic Time Machine.
- Changing the How I Train Pages and Deleted Linking Posts. I’ve deleted the posts that announced each of the four How I Train pages. I also deleted the pages themselves and consolidated them into a single How I Train page that you can find under the Enter the Time Machine link at the top of the page or your can follow this link to get there directly.
- New Post on Polarized Training Coming on Monday. I have a new post coming out on Monday that you’ll want to read. Polarized training has to be one of the most misunderstood training ideas out there. Some people call it different things, such as “a focus on high-intensity intervals” while others call it “fat-burning aerobic training.” Whatever you call it, the science and coaching success around polarized training is irrefutable. This post describes what it is, who is using it, why it works, and how to use it. In the northern hemisphere, fall and winter are also the perfect time to experiment with it because it also fits in well with most pre-season training plans. This may be the single most important thing you can do to having a killer 2015 race season.
